Dolce & Gabbana launches its first DG Digital Show

Fashion news never stop and that’s why MKS Milano Fashion School students always try to keep as updated as possible about what is happening in the fashion world.

It’s the turn of Dolce & Gabbana that, on 13th November, launched a revolutionary format bound to create a real impact on the traditional schemes of the industry. Seasonless and adopting the “phygital” method, the first DG Digital Show presented the new collection titled “Walking In The Street”, now available in boutiques and on the official e-commerce platform, following the “See Now, Buy Now" philosophy.

These virtual fashion shows, which tried to mirror as much as possible the dynamic and emotional atmosphere of live events, showcased an “urban, easygoing and relaxed” style, with tailored waistcoats, baggy jeans, sneakers and versatile bags that take us back to the 1990s and their typical streetwear.

“The project combines the uniqueness of the physical experience with the potential of digital tools, for a global and immediate communication,” explained the two stylists, underlying that the use of digital platforms aims at conveying to the audience all the sensations they would get with a live show, but in total safety.
